You have two tasks:

1) Character profile (Criteria B)

Create an A4 sheet which features the following information about your character:

· Some kind of picture (from a magazine/a composite image/collage etc) which represents their looks

· An animal which represents their personality and/or way of moving

· Bio-data: name; age; nationality; background history;

· School report (or job reference)

· Anything else that you already know about the character

2) Issue Research (Criteria A)

Your character has a specific issue which he/she deals with. Find some resources and information about your character’s issue which will help you to build a more realistic character. Your information/research might be from a newspaper, a story or novel a film character or an academic article or website. Please source your information and remember – it has to be of use to you as an actor when developing your character, in terms of building up information about them and informing their reactions and responses to people and situations. Either list the relevant information as well as citing your source(s) or attach a copy of the article with the relevant information highlighted.
